This is not a perfect product. There are gaffes and slip-ups up and down this demo. It, however, is a worts and all representation of Broken Things during the early-to-mid parts of 2020. These songs will continue to evolve and be refined before we officially commit them to tape. Why record something during a pandemic, and when the country is literally and figuratively on fire? We needed some normalcy in our lives, and banging on instruments helped us regain some of that. So much of punk is about connecting with others, be that on a one-to-one basis, or in dark, sweaty rooms. And since playing shows in the present-tense is out of the question, hopefully, this will bridge a gap.
